What: A blind auction where you are trying to win a kickass limited edition signed + numbered photo, while helping raise funds for a respected organization that serves at risk communities. The photo shows Outkast performing in St. Louis, Missouri in September 2014 — less than 1 month after Michael Brown was killed in Ferguson, MO. The legendary hip-hop duo stepped on stage and the lights turned on to find Andre 3000 staring upward into the vast distance, while Big Boi stands strong, silently saying it all: ‘Hands Up Don’t Shoot’.
Why: Because Black Lives Matter.
And systemic oppression + aggression against communities of color are real. And it’s happening everywhere, impacting countless minority communities — and we can all try to help demand systemic change. Solidarity is important.
Who: You bid the dollars and ArchCity Defenders will get the winning funds (aka: highest bid). ACD is a multi-racial and multi-ethnic “holistic legal advocacy organization that combats the criminalization of poverty and state violence, especially in communities of color. ACD’s foundation of civil and criminal legal representation, social services, impact litigation, policy and media advocacy, and community collaboration achieves and inspires justice and equitable outcomes for people throughout the St. Louis region and beyond.”

When: Bids are welcomed from Friday June 5, 2020 until Sunday June 21, 2020. The auction ends at 11:59 PM CDT.
Where: You can live anywhere to make a bid, and the framed image can be delivered anywhere in the lower 48 states. Might even drive it to ya’ myself, who knows!
What’s the Catch: There isn’t one!! No credit card info needed unless you win. No email lists. No robo-calls…none of that mess.
What if You Win: If you win, you will receive a large black+white matted photo of Outkast, printed on archival paper, in a 40” x 60” wooden frame, made by me and my father. It is signed by me and is edition #1 of 9. (Yep, that’s right: there will only be less than 10 of this print anywhere in the world, forever.) The winner will be notified as soon as the auction ends and we will begin finalizing payment and delivery details. Please Note: If you are the highest bidder and win the photo, you and all of your information (personal/business name/etc) will remain anonymous and confidential. If you want me to announce you/your business as the winner, I’ll happily promote you like a rock star for a day.
